Take your time. Verify everything.
Demonstration listings are clearly labelled. Genuine rooms will be reviewed before publication, but you should still make your own checks before agreeing to rent or paying money.
Basic safety rules
- View the room and meet the household before making a commitment.
- Check the advertiser’s identity and right to let the room.
- Read the written tenancy or licence agreement before signing.
- Never send money because someone is pressuring you or claiming another person will take the room immediately.
- Keep communication and evidence of payments. Report suspicious behaviour.
Emergency or crime
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. RoomCircle UK is not an emergency service.
